C315.4B.500.C-1 Bed Scale
What is a Bed Scale Used for?
A bed scale is designed to weigh a patient lying on a bed. Devices of this type are used in healthcare facilities, primarily hospitals.
Can a Bed Scale be Used to Determine BMI?
To obtain the body mass index (BMI) using a bed scale, divide the weight value (in kilograms) by the height squared (in metres). Note that the BMI classification is designed for adults – it does not apply to children.
There are a number of reasons why you should monitor your BMI. These include health reasons, such as type II diabetes, atherosclerosis or risk of heart attack, and preventive reasons, such as a weight loss diet or simply looking after your health.
Comfort for the patient
and medical staff
They are unbeatably ergonomic
The bed scales are equipped with a transport trolley, which simultaneously serves as a display stand. Four weighing modules connected by cables enable them to be placed under a bed with any wheel base. A special jack (suitable for wheels with a diameter of 100-200 mm) is used to lift the bed wheels.
They ensure continuous measurements
Bed scales are equipped with an internal battery which guarantees power supply independent of room conditions. As a result, RADWAG bed scales are resistant to sudden failures and lack of access to external power sources. The internal battery can be used for up to 8 hours.
They are energy efficient
The bed scale is equipped with a PUE C315 terminal. Its energy-saving LCD display is backlit and the measurement result is easy to read from any angle.
Memorise measurements
The ALIBI memory is an automatic register of copies of measurements that cannot be edited or deleted, but can be viewed and archived. The bed scales are equipped with the “black box of measurements”, the ALIBI memory. With them, your measurements are safe and sound.
Allows you to return to the weighing result at any time
The bed scales record a momentary (frozen) weighing result. Thanks to their working mode of weighing the patient with a frozen result, these types of scales allow you to record the result of a patient weighing and return to it at any time in the future. Such a frozen result can later be compared with results from other days or other patients for appropriate analysis.
They have a verification
The bed scale is verified.
