It is installed during the device’s production stage in place of the standard weighing pan, so it should be ordered when ordering a comparator (it is not sold as a separate product).
The weighing pan has the following functions:
- placing several weights, which are the resultant of the reference standard, off-centre,
- positioning the centre of gravity of the test and reference standards always in the same place.
