On 20th April 2016 Directive 2009/23/EC regulating non-automatic weighing instrument issues shall be replaced by Directive 2014/31/EU. Entry into force of the new directive shall cause a change in non – automatic scales marking applied after conformity assessment.
Marking of non – automatic scales applied after conformity assessment:
Marking accordant with Directive 2009/23/EC – to be in force until 20th April 2016.
Two last digits of the year when the mark was applied
Notified Body Number
Additional metrological mark
Mark confirming accordance with product-related directives
Marking accordant with Directive 2014/31/EU – to be in force after 20th April 2016r.
Requirements concerning:

non-automatic weighing instruments use (need of verification)
-
classification of weighing instruments by accuracy classes
-
maximum permissible error values
remain unchanged after directive amendment.
